A new work from the writer of The House of Ramón Iglesia , Mariso l, Cloud Tectonics , Sueño , Each Day Dies With Sleep and References to Salvador Dalí Make Me Hot . Rivera studied with Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez at the Sundance Institute, and is the recipient of numerous awards, including two OBIE Awards, a Fulbright Arts Fellowship and grants from the NEA and Rockefeller Foundation. He most recently received praises at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival for his screen adaptation of Ché Guevara's The Motorcycle Diaries , directed by Walter Salles (Central Station) and featuring Gael García Bernal (Y Tu Mamá También).
