DeAnna Howard
Assistant Lighting Designer
DeAnna Howard is a freelance Lighting Designer from Philadelphia. She graduated from Penn State University in May of 2020 with a B.F.A. in Theatre Design & Technology. Outside of theatre, she also enjoys other forms of live performance such as dance, music concerts and film. Since graduating DeAnna has worked in Oregon at Oregon Shakespeare Festival assisting Lighting Designer Xavier Pierce and New York shadowing/observing Lighting Designer Jennifer Tipton. During undergrad, she worked as a stagehand at a theatre and an arena learning the ins and outs of touring productions from music concerts, to dance concerts, symphonies, Broadway shows and more. DeAnna worked on lighting for projects such as THON, The USA Olympic Wrestling Trials, figure skating performances, Penn State basketball, hockey and more.
