Mackenzie Raine Kirkman

Mackenzie Raine Kirkman (she/they) was raised in North Carolina and got her Honors BA in Theatre and BFA in Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. From there she went to Miami University where she earned a Masters of Art in Theatre, Performance, and Practice after creating a theory to adapt violence from narrative fiction to stage. She now lives in Philadelphia teaching theatre to preschoolers and writing plays. Kirkman believes in writing plays that ask rather than tell.
