Theresa M. Davis (she/her), a.k.a. Lady T, is an Artist-Educator in 3-D (Dramaturg-Deviser-Director). Theresa is the Associate Artistic Director of the Contemporary American Theater Festival, where she actively supports the values of Fearless art, Inclusivity, and Community. As a Dramaturg, Theresa has collaborated with Geva Theatre, The Working Theater, Penumbra Theatre, and CATF. Most recently, she was Dramaturg for the World Premiere of Chisa Hutchinson’s play, Redeemed. Tenured at three different institutions, Theresa has taught at Kalamazoo College, West Virginia University, and the University of Virginia, where she joined the faculty as an Associate Professor of Cross-Cultural Performance. As a director, she’s had Guest Artist residencies at Macalester College and Purdue University.
