Anna Sorrentino

Costume Designer

Anna Sorrentino (she/her) is a Philly-based costume designer. She is a lover of new work and has designed costumes for development workshops at Carnegie Mellon, UArts, and Villanova. Her costume designs have been seen at theaters across the Philadelphia region, including Azuka Theatre (Carroll County Fix), Hedgerow Theatre (Cowboy Versus Samurai), Quintessence Theatre Group (Camille, Written by Phillis, The Little Prince), Delaware Shakespeare (Macbeth, Twelfth Night, o lo que quieras), Eagle Theatre (The Wild Party, Water by the Spoonful), Shakespeare in Clark Park (Two Gents), Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble (Ms. Watson and Ms. Holmes), and the Walnut Street Theatre (Moana). She is the costume shop manager at UArts, where she trains and mentors students in costume construction. Her training includes an MA in Theatre from Villanova University, the Wingspace Theatrical Design Mentorship and the Hangar Theatre Design Fellowship.
