HEALTH & SAFETY AT AZUKA THEATRE

Azuka Theatre remains committed to the health and safety of our staff, artists and audience members. These policies are subject to change following recommendations from city and federal health officials and we will update this page as needed.

MASK REQUIREMENT & VACCINATION

We will be offering a reduced-capacity, mask required performance for each of our productions in the 2023-2024 Season as follows:
>> The Elephant in the Room - November 9 @ 6:30pm
>> Overwinter - March 7 @ 6:30pm
>> An Army of Lovers - May 9 @ 6:30pm

During these select performances, we will require all audience members and staff to properly wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth while inside the building. Masks will be provided to those who do not arrive with appropriate face coverings. Anyone not wearing a mask will be asked to wear one, and anyone refusing to comply will be asked to leave.

All other performances and events will be offered at full capacity and masks will be optional.

All Azuka Theatre artists and staff are required to be vaccinated. While we strongly encourage everyone who can to get vaccinated against COVID-19, we will no longer require proof of vaccination for audience members.

We strongly encourage you to arrive at least 20 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to check-in, use the facilities, and find a seat!

BOX OFFICE

Reservation holders can head directly to the theater doors for check-in while those in need of a ticket should go to the box office counter. As always, no printed tickets will be used for our performances. Our box office staff will check your name(s) against the audience list for the performance.

PROGRAM

We are once again offering physical programs and will continue to offer a digital option. Digital programs can be accessed through QR codes in the theater and will be linked in pre- and post-show emails for you to read before or after the performance.

Digital programs also create a more accessible option for patrons with low vision and Azuka is committed to and working on making our content accessible to all audience members.

EXCHANGES

We are asking audiences, artists and staff to monitor their health and stay home if they are exhibiting any COVID-19 and/or flu-like symptoms. By entering the theater, you are agreeing that you are not sick and have not had direct contact with anyone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 5 days or exhibits symptoms of COVID-19.

If you do feel sick or have been exposed to someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please contact us at boxoffice@azukatheatre.org to cancel or exchange your reservation for another performance. There is no charge for exchanges, however reservations are subject to availability.
