Damien Wallace (he/him) is pleased to be making his Azuka Theatre debut. Damien was last seen in EgoPo’s 2021 production of Nocturne. He is known primarily for his work in the August Wilson century cycle having completed 8 of the 10 plays. Some of Damien’s other notable roles were in Philadelphia Theatre Co. and People’s Light Theatre productions of Lynn Notage’s Sweat. Arden’s productions of The Bluest Eye and The Legend of Georgia McBride. Additionally Damien has an extensive credit list as a director. His last production of EgoPo’s Philadelphia premiere of Wine in the Wilderness was received with amazing reviews. Damien also serves as the Artistic Director of The Lawrence Theatre Company. Some of his directing credits include the highly acclaimed world premiere plays (The Funeral and Custody) both written by local Philadelphia playwright Derrell Lawrence. Damien was formerly trained under the tutelage of Lee Srasburg disciple Ty Collins and Vernon Blackman and holds a BFA with Distinguished Honors degree in Theatre from Arcadia University.
